Bautista is scheduled to defend his IBF title against Mexican undefeated knock-out machine in Miguel Angel Mendoza W 17(KO 17) L 0.
Bautista W 31 (KO23) L 2 D 0 will be defending his IBF International Featherweight belt for the first time in his boxing career against Mendoza on December 10, 2011 at the Hoops Dome in Lapu Lapu City, Philippines. This coming face-off with Mendoza will be very crucial as a win will bring him closer to a possible bout with his tormentor Daniel Ponce De Leon who knocked Bautista out in the first round when they met at the Philippines vs Mexico World Cup of Boxing in Sacramento, California years back.
